We, The Steppes of Henry Foundation, hope to educate as many children as possible. By providing an education we will assist by lifting children out of poverty.

In Africa, we are focused on assisting girls to achieve their education initially.  Most of these young girls are being raised by single Mothers.  Historically,  girls in developing African countries have fewer opportunities than boys.  These girls represent the first generation of females receiving their education through

It is our hope that these young women will, “ Pay it forward.”  We assist them and they, in turn, assist two other young girls.  (Those two girls will then grow to assist four  and those four will grow to assist eight.)  By doing so, our collective work will help to bring the gift of education to so many more.

In Mexico, we are focused on both girls and boys. Government provided schooling is available in Mexico. However,  they need assistance with uniforms, shoes and supplies. By providing these necessary basic items, it helps to keep them in school.  The children we help do not have family resources to rely on.  The schools mandate that students attend in proper uniforms,  none of which are provided.

The Steppes of Henry Foundation will provide these items. Getting an education will help to lift these children out of poverty as well.
